I made this one using a silk crepe de chine from SMFabric.com. The black is on sale and still in stock but the white is ALL gone..because I bought all the rest. NahNah. Hehe. I made sure to pretreat by hand washing in using "color catcher" as recommended by Roz. So keep that in mind when color-blocking light and dark. Ask me how I know. (-;
I did "mental planning" and construction of this top, which made completing it extremely quick. When I got ready to sew, I did the construction live on Periscope. I know the ladies thoroughly enjoyed the "Sew & Chat" sessions I do regularly on periscope. Please follow so you can join in the fun when I'm in the mood to "Sew & Chat". Otherwise, you will have to wait and catch the replays when I get around to uploading them to my YouTube channel.
Baby it's cold outside. But, I wanted to get the pictures in the sunlight for you all. I haven't taken a really photoshoot in quite some time. Secret: these pics were taken with my iPhone 6s.
Pattern Details:
McCalls 7093 view C. I cut the side panels on the bias for a certain contrast in the white. I used french seams throughout, including the shoulder darts. Fitting-wising, I did a forward should adjustment and a FBA using the pivot and slide method.
Here is the periscope video if you are so inclined to watch:
